UFC legend Vitor Belfort is the latest addition to Triller’s upcoming boxing event.
Triller announced via a press release on Friday that Belfort (26-14, 1 NC in MMA) would box “famous ranger and social media personality” Mike Holston, better known as “The real Tarzann—June 19 at LoanDepot Park in Miami. The news was first reported by ESPN.
The fight will take place on the undercard of an event led by Teofimo Lopez (16-0, 12 KOs) defending his WBA, IBF, WBO and The Ring lightweight titles against George Kambosos Jr (19-0, 10 KOs).
This will be Belfort’s second foray into boxing as he actually has one boxing match on his record, a meeting in 2006 against Josemario Neves in his native Brazil which Belfort won by knockout in the first round. Apart from that, Belfort is best known for his UFC and PRIDE appearances, which include a UFC light heavyweight title victory in 2004 and several other world title opportunities for the now-aged Brazilian. 44 years.
Holston doesn’t have any notable experience in combat sports, but he could potentially attract a large following as he currently has over six million Instagram followers as well as a YouTube channel with nearly 850,000 subscribers.

Floridian Mike Holston, aka The Real Tarzann, is a former zookeeper turned wild animal “whisperer” and protector of animals who has become a social media phenomenon with millions of followers thanks to his posts showing his interactions often daring with wild and exotic animals. Holston posted photos of him with everything from giraffes, lions and chimpanzees to crocodiles, poisonous frogs, snakes, giant squids and other wildlife. Rumor of the fight began to circulate Thursday night following ESPN’s report and a video of questionable authenticity shared by TikTok star Noah Beck which is said to show a showdown between Belfort and Holston.
Triller and Triller boss Ryan Kavanaugh were tagged in the video and, perhaps not by chance, the Belfort-Holston fight was officially announced on Friday morning.
Belfort was most recently linked with ONE Championship, although he has yet to compete for Singapore-based promotion since signing in March 2019. His most recent fight was at UFC 224 in May 2018, where he lost by knockout in the second round. to Lyoto Machida.
