UK start time, full fight card and live stream for UFC 265 bantamweight clash this weekend

Jose Aldo will return to the UFC Octagon this weekend when he takes on Pedro Munhoz at UFC 265.

After losing three rebound fights, Aldo retaliated by beating Marlon Vera in December.

Jose Aldo will be in action this weekend

The 29 and 7-year-old veteran is still looking to mix it up with the best in the sport and will want to put on a show this weekend.

Aldo is fifth in the UFC bantamweight standings and is still keen to try and move up that rankings.

He will now face fellow Brazilian Munhoz, who is 19-5 and beat Jimmie Rivera in February, on the undercard in the interim heavyweight title fight between Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 7 and will be held at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Preliminaries will start at 1 a.m. on Sunday morning UK time with the main card starting at 3 a.m.

Aldo vs Munhoz is the main co-event bout and is scheduled to start at 4 a.m.

The action will air on BT Sport 1. Their coverage of the preliminaries will begin from 1am with their main show starting at 3am.

It will be streamed live on BT Sport’s website and app for subscribers.

Pedro Munhoz: “It will be an honor to share the Octagon with Aldo. I really admire his style.

“I have always watched his fights and I know how much he has done for his community. He has always been a benchmark for me in sport. I am very grateful to fight it.

“We both have similar fighting styles. We’re both moving forward, so I think it’s going to be a very entertaining and explosive fight. It will certainly be a fight with high levels of technique.

“Everyone knows what they can expect from me. Always aggressive and looking for the finish. It fits Aldo’s style well.
