“The Lioness” is looking forward to another fight against the bantamweight champion. She is sure that she will succeed against Peña. The fighter also quit “America’s Top Team” to train at her own gym. So in their next fight, it would be interesting to see what changes Nunes makes to his game plan.

Speaking about his rematch with Peña, Nunes said: “…in the next rematch, we’re going to take that belt back. She’s having a great time right now and I literally want to see her enjoying every day with this belt on because this belt is mine.

From Nunes’ explanation, it’s clear that his timing was off and that led to his downfall. So his second match with Peña will be a good decider for the better fighter between the two. A highly motivated Nunes taking on Peña to defend her title will result in a much more explosive fight than the first.

Amanda Nunes and Julianna Pena at The Ultimate Fighter

While it would be interesting to see them face off again, there seems to be something bigger on their plates. Nunes and Peña will train fighters for TUF 30. Peña herself announced it on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Thus, the TUF will give viewers the opportunity to see them take their rivalry far beyond the octagon. It will air on ESPN+ on May 3.
