SeABank honored to receive two Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards 2021

The Vietnam Outstanding Banking Award recognizes financial institutions with outstanding business performance, usually in outstanding products/services that have aroused public interest and contributed to the development of the industry. For the Financial Solutions Package – Supporting Vietnamese Women, SeABank competed in two categories and is delighted to be nominated in both categories.

Identifying women as customers in need of a particular service, SeABank designed financial packages with products and services exclusively for female customers, including: SeALady credit card, Vietnam Women’s Union loans ( SeAWomen) and a version of the SeAMobile digital banking app for women… The SeALady Cashback credit card is designed exclusively for women and offers up to 2% cash back on all transactions. At each transaction of 1 million VND paid with the SeALady Cashback card, SeABank will contribute VND2,000 to the Cancer Patient Support Fund – “Bright Future”. SeABank contributed approximately 2.1 billion VND to the “Bright Future” fund so far.

SeABank also launched SeAMobile digital banking app, a new version designed for women with several advanced features such as AI app, QR payments, bill payments, online gold shopping, eKYC identity… Simultaneously, SeABank worked with women’s unions across the nation to provide loans to members of the Vietnam Women’s Union to meet their consumption needs and strengthen the household economy.

With the support of capital funding and guidance on developing a loan portfolio for women-owned businesses from the International Finance Corporation and other international lending parties, SeABank effectively implemented the “Loans for women-owned businesses” and positioned itself as the bank of choice for women-owned businesses.

Along with the goal of efficient business development, with the operating principle “For the Community”, in 2021, SeABank provides solutions to help the government and citizens in the prevention of the pandemic, as well as to help people poor and disadvantaged. So far, SeABank, BRG Group and its member entities have sponsored nearly 200 billion VND in support of the government and those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
