The 16 best players in the world will compete at the Masters 2022 from January 9-16 – and you can watch it all on the BBC.
There will be extensive coverage on BBC TV and BBC Red Button and uninterrupted coverage on BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website and the BBC Sport app.
BBC Two will also offer a nightly highlights program until the final.
The Masters is the second Triple Crown event of the season. The first, the British Championship, was won by Chinese Zhao Xintong, while the third is the world championship which starts in April.
What are the key matches of the first round?
Reigning champion Yan Bingtao will face Welshman Mark Williams in the opening session on Sunday.
UK champion Zhao Xintong will make his debut on day two of the event against world number six and last year’s runner-up, John Higgins.
Tuesday, Winner of the 2021 World Grand Prix and seven times Masters champion Ronnie o’sullivan will play his English compatriot Jack Lisowski.
World champion and current world number one Marc Selby confronts Stephen Maguire the same day.
What is the prize money for the winner?
The winner of this year’s tournament will take home £ 250,000 in prizes out of a total pot of £ 725,000.
