It marked Izzy’s twenty-first victory in his mixed martial arts career. The victory ultimately helped him move up the pound-for-pound rankings.

After the ascent of Oliveira, the Australian Robert Whittaker climbed to eleventh place. After losing to Adesanya at UFC 243, ‘The Reaper’ is on a three-game winning streak in the middleweight division. He beat three of the top ten fighters, which ultimately improved his pound for pound ranking.

Former Flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo is the only guy who is dropped from the standings. Previously, Figueiredo was in tenth position. But after his loss to new champion Brandon Moreno, ‘God of War’ was replaced by the new entry from Moreno himself.

Brandon Moreno is the only new entry in the leaderboards appearing at number twelve. Otherwise, everyone is in the same place with Jon Jones still at number one and Kamaru Usman at number two. This ranking list has not yet been published on the official website UFC Ranking website.

ESPN Ranking has Kamaru Usman in first place over Jon Jones. Kamaru Usman has a record 19 wins with one loss while Jon Jones has 26 wins and 1 loss to his name. It’s a moot point as Jones clearly has more wins on his fighting resume. One of the reasons Usman overtakes ‘Bones’ could be that Jones has been inactive since February 2020. While ‘The Nigerian Nitghtare’ has fought three times in the same amount of time.
