Costa Releases Adesanya Fight (2020) Video Simulation

On this day two years ago, Paulo Costa had a little fun ahead of his UFC middleweight title fight against Israel Adesanya.

At UFC 253, Israel Adesanya managed to silence one of his biggest detractors in the best way he knew how: punches, kicks and any combination of the two that comes his way.

At this event, Adesanya defeated Costa via TKO. Nonetheless, Costa continues to disparage Adesanya when the opportunity arises to this day to keep the feud going.

In recent months, Costa’s social media activity has shown Borrachinha’s goofy side. But two years ago, it was already hanging out on the interwebs.

Recent news

According to the latest news, Costa has been able to prove that it is he who is hiding behind his Twitter account, which is full of memes and offbeat humor. How did he do this? Why, he passed a pop quiz, of course, and thus silence doubters about the authenticity of his page.

From a competitive standpoint, Costa recently made headlines with his decision victory over Luke Rockhold at UFC 278 last month. After the win, however, Adesanya said Costa was still his “bitch”.

Title: Paulo Costa posts fake video of Israel Adesanya fight

Author: Ian Carey

UFC 253 takes place on September 26 from Fight Island in Abu Dhabi. Paulo Costa has released a video that shows how he thinks the fight will go. Costa tapped muay Thai kickboxer Vanderlei Goncalves to play UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya in the clip.

The well-produced video is complete with entrances, crowd sounds, and intros. When the fight itself begins, however, Costa has to chase his opponent around the cage. The version of Adesanya in Costa’s video doesn’t want to be in the fight. However, even escaping from the cage cannot help him.

The video can be viewed in its entirety in the player below:

It’s been over a year since we’ve seen Costa fight, the video above is not included. He last fought at UFC 241 in August 2019. He defeated Yoel Romero on this card. His previous wins have come over Uriah Hall, Johny Hendricks and Oluwale Bamgbose.

Adesanya also beat Yoel Romero in his last fight, which was at UFC 248 in March. His previous wins before that came over Robert Whittaker, Kelvin Gastelum, Anderson Silva and Derek Brunson.

Also scheduled for UFC 253 is a light heavyweight bout between Dominick Reyes and Jan Błachowicz.
