“Best boxer my A **” – Conor McGregor trails Dustin Poirier on recent comments

[ad_1]

The trilogy fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier is only a week away. But the social media war has already started. In the rematch at UFC 257 in January, Poirier was the one who managed to take out McGregor in the very first round. It shattered the momentum for McGregor as he was forced to stand up.

In a recent post, McGregor attempted to suggest an unofficial combat deal by tweeting “The first to shoot is a dusty bi ** h.”By the tweet, it’s clear that ‘The Notorious’ wants to make the trilogy fight a stand-up contest.

Dustin Poirier responded to this tweet in an interview with Brett Okamoto. ‘The Diamond’ said “He just said something on the first to shoot is a dusty bitch.” Isn’t he the one who always preaches about flow, full martial arts, no restrictions, no rules, ultimate fighting like when he talks about boxing and all that, right?

“How about the first one to be shot is a dusty asshole in mixed martial arts who got it all set.” It smacks of insecurity to me.

Dustin Poirier claims to be the best boxer in the lightweight division. But after dismissing the Irishman’s suggestion, McGregor trolled ‘The Diamond’ as he retweeted “Best boxer, my a **, Shooting a **! Bomb a ** bi ** h.”

Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier: unofficial No.1 contender fight

This is a very important fight for the lightweight, because a victory here will open doors to endless opportunities. My fans think the McGregor vs. Poirier trilogy fight is an unofficial number one contender fight for the 155-pound championship. Currently, Brazilian Charles Oliveira is the current UFC lightweight champion.

Oliveira would love to have her first title defense against the winner of the UFC 264 trilogy fight. Both are huge names and will provide a healthy salary for the champion. The lightweight champion feels himself to be the superior fighter and can take the two out if they ever face each other inside the octagon.

At the press conference promoted by the Bet Combat site, Oliveira said “Everyone knows that a fight with Conor has a lot of money. And one with Dustin not so much, but they are two big opponents. I do not choose my fights, I will be ready. I really believe in my jiu-jitsu versus one or the other. But something tells me that if I fought them I would knock them both out (h / t: Agfight). “
