Adrian Yanez vs. Davey Grant for UFC November 20 event

The bantamweight will collide in November in hopes of getting closer to the top 15.

Several people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans have confirmed to MMA Fighting that a clash between Adrian Yanez and Davey Grant will take place at the UFC event on November 20. While the location and venue has yet to be announced, the card is set to take place at UFC APEX in Las Vegas. ESPN Sports was the first to report the reservation.

Yanez has been in tears since 2019 with seven straight wins, including a 39-second TKO victory over Dana WhiteContender Series, and three consecutive arrivals to launch his octagonal career. Most recently, Yanez won a comeback against Randy Costa, which earned him a performance bonus at UFC Vegas 32 in July. The 27-year-old revealed on Friday that he signed a new four-fight deal with the promotion ahead of his next clash.

Grant appears to be rebounding after seeing his three-game winning streak interrupted by Marlon Vera at the UFC Vegas 29 event in June. Former competitor of season 18 of The ultimate fighterGrant claimed a decisive victory over Grigorii Popov, as well as back-to-back KO wins over Martin Day and Jonathan Martinez in his previous streak.

Other fights confirmed for the event include a welterweight fight between Michael Chiesa and Sean Brady, as well as a flyweight match between Joanne Calderwood and Alexa Grasso.
